Abdel Aitroua

Abdel Aitroua has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Abdel is currently a Product Owner at Visual Lease, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Proroutes™ as a Founder/Silent Partner and later as a Product Owner/Founder. At Proroutes™, Abdel was involved in creating a custom software as a service for the recycling industry, managing the design and creation of telemetry hardware, and overseeing the development of a driver and truck tracking app.

Before joining Proroutes™, Abdel worked at Midwestern State University as a Graduate Teaching & Research Assistant. In this role, they taught various computer science and information systems courses, provided lectures, assisted students with programming assignments, and debugged code. Abdel'stenure at Midwestern State University lasted from August 2015 to December 2018.

Abdel also has experience as a Co-Founder & CTO at Domo3D, where they handled technical aspects of the business, provided virtual reality tours for real estate properties, universities, and more, and operated a Matterport Camera. Abdel worked at Domo3D from August 2015 to August 2018.

Prior to their work at Domo3D, Abdel held the position of General Manager at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®. Here, they maintained product standards, educated customers, and managed a team of up to 35 employees. Abdel'srole at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® lasted from April 2012 to August 2015.

At the beginning of their career, Abdel served as the Director of Business Development/Founder at Wethinksimple. In this role, they researched, acquired, and managed subcontractors, negotiated partnerships, and acquired clients from overseas. Abdel'semployment at Wethinksimple lasted from January 2007 to April 2012.

Overall, Abdel Aitroua has demonstrated a strong passion for entrepreneurship and technology throughout their work experience.

Abdel Aitroua obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Midwestern State University, graduating in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the same university, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and completing 18 hours of Business & Marketing Electives in 2010. Abdel Aitroua completed their high school education at Sahnoun High School, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate degree with a focus on Experimental Science. Additionally, they obtained the SAFe® Product Owner and SAFe® Product Manager (POPM) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2021.
