Matt Posard

Matt Posard is the Founding Principal at EXPLORE DNA, where the focus is on Life Sciences, Genomics, Diagnostics, and Therapeutics since February 2015. Posard serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Nautilus Biotechnology and is a board member for several organizations including Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc., Vizgen, Vital Bio, and Geneyx Genomex Ltd. His experience includes a notable tenure at Illumina from 2006 to 2015, where Matt held several senior leadership roles and oversaw significant sales growth. Posard is also involved with UC San Diego, serving on the Athletics Board and the Social Sciences Dean’s Leadership Council. His career in the industry is supported by a BA in Management Science from UC San Diego.
