Julie held the position of VP of Operational Accounting at WPX Energy from May 2018 to October 2021, and prior to that, they were the Director of Operational Accounting at WPX Energy from January 2012 to May 2018. Before joining WPX Energy, they worked at The Williams Companies, Inc as the Manager of various Commodity Accounting Groups from June 1998 to December 2012. Julie Mathis began their career at Mapco INC, where they held multiple roles including Internal Auditor, Accountant, Credit Manager, and Manager of Supply and Trading from May 1988 to June 1998.
Julie Mathis obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Illinois State University from 1984 to 1987.
