Jorge Alday is an experienced professional in public health and communications, currently serving as the Director of STOP, a tobacco industry watchdog at Vital Strategies since September 2018. Prior to this role, Jorge held several leadership positions, including Chief of Staff and Director of Communications at the Peterson Center on Healthcare (August 2014 - August 2018) and Director of Policy and Communications at the World Lung Foundation (December 2007 - August 2014). Additional experience includes serving as Vice President at both MWW Group and FINN Partners, as well as Associate Director at Weber Shandwick. Jorge holds an MSc in International Public Policy from UCL (2005 - 2006) and both a BA in Psychology and a BS in Public Relations from Boston University (September 1993 - May 1997). Early education was completed at Gonzaga College High School (1989 - 1993).
