Brett Van Dorn has worked at various companies throughout their career. Brett started as a Tennis Instructor at Somerset County Park Commission in 2006 and worked there until 2009. In 2009, they joined Northeastern University as a Laser Monitor and Tutor. Brett then had an internship at Cordis in 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Software Engineer at WorldCare Clinical, LLC and as a Software Developer, Co-Founder at Melcrea, LLC. In 2012, they became the CTO at IDEA: Northeastern University's Venture Accelerator. From 2014, they worked at VitalSource, starting as a Software Engineer and then progressing to Senior Software Engineer, Lead Software Engineer, and currently Principal Engineer.
Brett Van Dorn obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Digital Art from Northeastern University, studying from 2009 to 2013.
