Richard Neville is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as the CTO of Software and R&D Director for Scotland and Portugal at VITEC since April 2021, Richard led software engineering efforts as the Director at Exterity from August 2002 to April 2021. Previously, Richard held the position of Head of Application Software at Exterity and served as a Senior Software Engineer at IndigoVision and Cadence Design Systems. Richard began a career as a Software Engineer at NCR Corporation. Richard earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from the University of Glasgow and holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the same institution.
