Varun T. currently serves as the Associate Director of Information Technology at Vitech Systems Group since May 2021, following a progression from Senior Manager to Manager in the Security Operations Center. Prior experience includes roles at S&P Global/Wipro as SOC Technical Manager and Incident Response Lead, overseeing a global 24/7 Security Operations Center and collaborating with Cyber Incident Response Team leadership. Varun also held the position of Practice Manager for Global Security Operations at Akamai Technologies, contributing to the defense against DDoS and web application attacks. Earlier roles included Security Operations Specialist Senior at Akamai, Technical Support Engineer at McAfee, DNS Administrator at Lloyds TSB, and Technical Support Engineer at SonicWALL. Varun holds an MS in Networking & Telecommunications from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad and a BE in Computer Science from M.V.S.R Engineering College.
