Matthew Alty has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Matthew currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Vitesse Systems, a leading supplier of thermal management and antenna solutions. Prior to that, they were the Chief Operating Officer of Valence Surface Technologies, where they focused on providing metal processing services to the Aerospace and Defense supply chain. Before Valence, Matthew held various roles at Bodycote, including Vice President of Surface Technology and Strategic Business Manager. Matthew started their career as a Development Engineer at Wood Group, where they specialized in coating and braze repair solutions for industrial gas turbine components. Matthew has extensive experience in strategic planning, operations management, sales and marketing, and business development, with a strong focus on serving the Aerospace and Defense sectors.
Matthew Alty completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Leadership from Loyola Marymount University, College of Business Administration, between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a BEng (Hons) in Metallurgy & Materials Science from the University of Liverpool from 1998 to 2001. Matthew's education began at Hutton Grammar School from 1996 to 1998, however, no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
