Ivan Vogel

Ivan Vogel is a Senior Bioinformatician at Vitrolife since July 2023, with a strong background in bioinformatics gained from previous roles at the University of Copenhagen and the Institute of Biophysics, ASCR in Brno. Expertise includes NGS data analysis, transposable element annotation, and developing bioinformatics pipelines using bash and python. Ivan has also contributed to education as an instructor at Brno University of Technology, teaching bioinformatics and supervising theses. Ivan holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on Bioinformatics from Brno University of Technology, alongside a Master of Science in Bioinformatics and international experience through internships and exchange programs.
