Gavin Barnes

Gavin Barnes is an experienced operations manager currently leading the safe operation of port and pipeline facilities for Viva Energy Australia, a major energy organization that significantly contributes to the Australian economy. With a career at Viva Energy since September 2011, Gavin has also served as the CTCP Contracts & Procurement Lead. Prior to this, experience includes roles as Procurement Executive for Shell Company of Australia Ltd, focusing on services contracts for the downstream refining business, and as Senior Buyer for the Australian Rugby Union. Earlier positions include Logistics Manager at Link Solutions and a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Geography & Marine Science from the University of Sydney, obtained between 1994 and 1997.
