Sybtain Badami

Sybtain Badami is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IT applications and management within the energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of Tech Apps and Refinery Business Partner at Viva Energy Australia since April 2015, Sybtain oversees capital investments and service delivery for critical IT applications at the Geelong Refinery. Previous roles include Refinery IT Programme Manager and JDE ERP implementation lead, driving significant digital transformation initiatives. With prior experience at Shell International Petroleum Co. and Shell Markets Middle East, Sybtain has successfully led global SAP deployments, enhancing operational processes across multiple regions. Sybtain holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Institute of Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, complemented by a Leadership Development Program from Melbourne Business School.
