Dan has extensive experience working with private equity backed companies, both as a CFO and an investment professional. Most recently, he was CFO of Dimex, partnering with Vivo Infusion’s CEO Chris Reef to triple earnings and deliver a fund record exit to a large public company. Dan also spent six years on the investment team at Grey Mountain Partners, where he originated and evaluated new investments and worked with portfolio companies as a board member. Dan’s career in private equity started as the CFO of a specialty industrial service company.
Before finding his passion for leading profitable growth the lower middle market, Dan gained progressive financial leadership experience with Procter and Gamble, General Electric, and Eaton. He began his career as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a technology planning analyst, attaining the rank of Captain.
Dan earned a B.S. in Economics from The United States Air Force Academy and an M.A. in Economics from The Ohio State University.
