Jonathan Galarraga, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Tissue Model Development and Senior Scientist at Vivodyne since January 2022. Prior to this role, Jonathan worked at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2016 to December 2021 as a National Science Foundation - Graduate Research Fellow, focusing on the design of biomaterials for musculoskeletal tissue repair, specifically through custom hydrogels for tissue engineering and biofabrication. Earlier, Jonathan held the position of Undergraduate Researcher in the Christopher Kloxin Research Group at the University of Delaware from December 2012 to May 2016, where work involved synthesizing novel monomers for self-healing materials and developing tissue-adhesive systems. Jonathan also contributed as a Blue Hen Ambassador, guiding prospective students during campus tours. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an Honors Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Delaware.
