Elaine Ou

Elaine Ou is an experienced copy editor currently working at VIZ Media since November 2022. Prior to this role, Elaine served as a copy editor and proofreader at IDW Publishing, where responsibilities included copyediting comic scripts and proofreading for monthly comic series and graphic novels. Elaine’s extensive editorial background includes positions at Insight Editions, where duties encompassed overseeing editorial production for numerous titles, including those for major entertainment brands such as Disney and Marvel. Elaine's earlier roles include serving as an editorial assistant and intern, alongside freelance work in web management and design. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
