Vilius Gudelis is an experienced automation programmer with a strong background in robotics and process automation. Currently employed at VMG Group since July 2021, Vilius specializes in programming ABB and Yaskawa robots, as well as various PLCs and automation equipment. Prior roles include a manufacturing improvement assistant at HELLA, where Vilius focused on process improvement and Excel VBA coding, and a team member in an automated windmill inspection research project at Hochschule Ansbach, responsible for creating a dataset of windmill wing defects. Vilius also gained practical experience as an Automation Engineer assistant at Mars, performing PLC programming and electric panel assembly. Early experience includes a position as a bartender at Butlin's, emphasizing customer communication. Vilius holds a Master's degree in Computer Vision and Robotics and a Bachelor's degree in Robotics Technology/Technician from Kaunas University of Technology, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Intelligent Robotics Systems from Linköping University.
