Matthias Stephens

Matthias Stephens has a diverse work experience in various roles. In 2023, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Mobile Outfitters. Before that, from October 2022 to February 2023, they were a Freelance Software Engineer, working on different projects for clients worldwide. Prior to that, from December 2021 to October 2022, they held the position of Software Engineer & Sr. Developer Advocate at Apify, where they developed custom microservices and data-extraction workflows for enterprise customers. In 2020, they worked as an English Second Language Teacher at Three Lions English, teaching and leading groups of students in-person and remotely. Matthias also worked as an English Second Language Instructor at Linn-Benton Community College in 2020, teaching both groups and individuals before moving on to a position in Poland.

Matthias Stephens attended UC Berkeley Boot Camps in 2021, where they obtained a Full-Stack Developer degree in Computer Software Engineering. Prior to that, in 2019 and 2020, they studied at the International TEFL Academy and received a Level 5 TEFL/TESOL Certification, specializing in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor. Before their post-secondary education, they attended West Albany High School. Matthias also holds additional certifications in Full-Stack Web Development from UC Berkeley Extension, obtained in December 2021, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the International TEFL Academy, obtained in February 2020.
