Willie Marais has worked in the telecommunications industry for several years. Willie began their career at Telkom SA Ltd in 1994 as an Engineer and went on to hold various roles, including Development Manager and Specialist: Systems. In 2010, Willie joined Vodacom as a Snr Specialist in Service Assurance & Trouble Ticket Management before progressing to roles such as Principal Specialist in Business Architecture and Enterprise Architecture. Currently, Willie holds the position of Principal Specialist in Group IT Architecture at Vodacom.
Willie Marais completed their B.Ing degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pretoria between 1990 and 1993. Before that, they attended Jim Fouche Secondary School where they obtained their Matric qualification.
