Raad Shama is an experienced telecommunications professional with expertise in IP/MPLS planning and design. Since May 2016, Raad has worked as a Senior IP/MPLS Specialist Planner/Designer for Vodafone Group, focusing on the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, overseeing the design, build, and deployment of new Enterprise Points of Presence (POP) and Network-to-Network Interconnections (NNI) with various telecom providers. Prior to this role, Raad held positions as a Senior Network Engineer at Vodafone since May 2011, and previously worked for Cable & Wireless for over a decade, providing 1st and 2nd line network operations support. Raad's technical proficiency includes experience with major networking technologies and platforms, and education in Telecommunications Engineering from Queen Mary University of London, earning a Master of Engineering degree.
