Ashley O'Neill

Ashley O'Neill is a seasoned information security professional and elected official with extensive experience in technology and local governance. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Volaris Group since January 2014, Ashley has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Information Security and Cyber Security Manager, while overseeing critical IT infrastructure across various locations. Additionally, since May 2017, Ashley has been a Councillor for Calne Rural and has held multiple portfolio responsibilities, including Governance, IT, Broadband, Climate Change, and Housing at Wiltshire Council, focusing on enhancing community services and environmental policies. Prior roles include significant IT engineering positions at Trapeze Group and SciSys, where Ashley was instrumental in the implementation of large-scale IT projects and infrastructure management. Ashley holds a degree from the University of Bath.
