Matthias Bichsel

Matthias Bichsel is an experienced executive and board member with a career spanning several decades in the energy and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Non-Executive Director at Voliro Airborne Robotics and Senior Independent Director at Petrofac, Bichsel has also held positions as Non-Executive Director at Canadian Utilities and Adviser at Chrysalix Venture Capital. Previous roles include significant leadership positions at Shell, where Bichsel was a member of the Executive Committee, and various technical and managerial roles at Royal Dutch Shell. Bichsel's academic background includes a PhD in Geology from the University of Basel.
