Dave Porter has an extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Dave started their career at Digital Equipment Corporation as a Consulting Software Engineer in 1977 and worked there until 1995. Afterwards, they joined Mangosoft Inc as a Staff Consulting Software Engineer from 1995 to 2002. Dave then moved on to Acopia Networks as a Consulting Software Engineer from 2002 to 2007. Dave then joined F5 Networks in 2007 as an Architect and remained with the company until 2019. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at VoltDB, Inc.
Dave Porter attended the University of Leeds from 1974 to 1977, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Computer Science.
