Pierre Sphabmixay is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in biomedical and medical engineering. Currently serving as a Staff R&D Engineer at Volta Labs, Inc., Pierre leads the development and deployment of innovative computer-vision models and analytical pipelines. Previous roles include Senior R&D Engineer at Volta Labs, Application Engineer at Berkeley Lights, Inc., and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where significant contributions to organ-on-chip technologies and diabetes modeling were made. Pierre holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from MIT, along with multiple degrees in Bioengineering and Physics from prestigious institutions such as EPFL and École Polytechnique.
