Satish Kumar Garlapati

Satish Kumar Garlapati is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in embedded model-based control systems. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Model Based Controls Engineer at Volta Trucks since June 2023, Satish specializes in creating control functions for the supervisory Vehicle Control Module using MATLAB/Simulink, alongside system integration and hardware-in-the-loop testing. Previously, at Ricardo from December 2017 to April 2023, Satish worked as a Senior Controls Engineer, focusing on EHorizon-based control for hybrid vehicles and establishing rapid prototype systems. Prior to that, Satish held various positions at Eaton, contributing to hybrid control modules and software development for HEV/PHEV applications, and at LG Electronics, developing system control solutions for refrigeration. Satish holds a Master of Engineering in Control Systems from Birla Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, and a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Government Polytechnic.
