Alex Driesen

Alex Driesen is the Chief Executive Officer of Toreon, a cybersecurity and privacy consulting firm established in June 2017, dedicated to fostering cybertrusted organizations and products. In addition to this role, Alex serves as a non-executive board member for Toreon, contributing to initiatives that help digital organizations enhance trust and security. Alex holds various leadership positions, including Chair of the Cyber Sounding Board Committee at GUBERNA and Chair of Cyber Made in Belgium at Agoria, focusing on bolstering the cybersecurity landscape in Belgium. As an advisor and board member for several startups and venture firms, including Volta Ventures and Fine startups, Alex brings extensive experience in business transformation and governance, previously leading key initiatives at Zetes and Europdata Systems. Alex's academic qualifications include an Executive MBA from Flanders Business School and advanced management training from Harvard Business School, among other prestigious institutions.
