Hafiz Muhammad Waqas

Hafiz Muhammad Waqas is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in system simulation and thermal management, particularly in the battery technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior System Simulation Engineer at VoltStorage since July 2023, Hafiz focuses on analyzing battery test data, developing simulation models, and optimizing hydraulic and thermal performance for flow batteries. Previous roles include System Simulation Engineer and Simulation Engineer at VoltStorage and LION Smart GmbH, where Hafiz engaged in CFD simulations, operational strategy development, and thermal management of battery systems. With a Master's degree in Chemical and Energy Engineering from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab, Hafiz also has a background in production supervision and process engineering from earlier career positions.
