Oskar Lilja has worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Volumental since 2019 and at Watty from 2016 to 2019. Oskar also worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Ericsson from 2016 to 2016. In 2016, they completed a Master's Thesis at the Division of Mathematical Statistics - Chalmers University of Technology, titled "Clustering Cancer Tumours Using Unsupervised Deep Learning Techniques", which involved the implementation of a deep autoencoder and comparison with other unsupervised learning algorithms using Python and the deep learning library Theano as well as the machine learning library scikit-learn. Oskar Lilja completed a Gymnasieexamen from Fyrisskolan in 2008 in the field of Naturvetenskaplig inriktning. In 2011, they attended Uppsala University but did not receive a degree. Oskar then attended Chalmers University of Technology and received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering Physics in 2014. During the same year, they also attended Technical University of Munich and received a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Complex Adaptive Systems. In 2016, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Complex Adaptive Systems from Chalmers University of Technology.
