Aaron Kelsay

Aaron Kelsay, LPC, CADC I, is a licensed professional counselor and addiction counselor with extensive experience in mental health and community service. As the owner of Progress Counseling since July 2021, Kelsay emphasizes the importance of human connection in effective counseling. Kelsay has served as a Mental Health Counselor at Volunteers of America since January 2019, providing treatment for individuals within the criminal justice system, and has held the role of Counselor III, focusing on helping justice-involved men reintegrate into society. Previous leadership experience includes serving as Pastor of Youth & Mission at Theophilus, where Kelsay advocated for marginalized communities, and as Area Director II for Young Life, overseeing programs in a diverse Portland community. Kelsay's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Community Health Services/Counseling from Western Theological Seminary and Bachelor's Degrees in Theology, Youth Ministry, and Business Management.
