Alberto Maldonado

Alberto Maldonado serves as the Regional Director of Business Development & Services at Volunteers of America since May 2008, where contributions have significantly advanced business development initiatives aimed at empowering vulnerable communities through partnerships and program enhancements. Previous leadership roles include Director of Community Corrections overseeing operations at the Puerto Rico Residential Reentry Center and a series of positions related to community corrections and field verification at the U.S. Census Bureau. Alberto holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Project Management from Ana G. Méndez University System, in addition to a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universidad Metropolitana and a Nonprofit Certificate from the University of Notre Dame. Early education includes music studies at the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music.
