Daniel Boström is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in various technical and managerial roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Volvo Group since April 2021, Daniel has previously held positions such as Maintenance Engineer at Plasman, where improvement projects focused on storage and assembly processes were executed. Prior to that, significant contributions were made at JOAB as a Senior utvecklingsspecialist, overseeing projects for major truck manufacturers including Volvo and Scania, and involved in innovations in information integration and next-generation vehicle technologies. Daniel’s expertise also includes roles as Technical Sales Manager at ifm, where responsibility for mobile control systems was key, and as Automationsingenjör at The TREPKO Group, focusing on software development for packaging machinery. Leadership experience was gained as Konstruktionschef at Hammar, managing a team of engineers, and beginning a career at Chalmers Studentkår, advocating for student interests. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Mechatronics from Chalmers University of Technology.
