Lalit Bhakuni

Lalit Bhakuni currently serves as the Vice President of Enterprise IT Security at Volvo Group, focusing on cyber resilience, threat protection, and security architecture. As part of the Enterprise IT Security Management team, responsibilities include enhancing organizational defenses against emerging cyber threats. In addition to this role, Lalit is a guest lecturer at TIAS School for Business and Society, teaching Cyber Security Operations & Analytics. Previously, Lalit held significant positions such as the Head of the Global Cyber Intelligence Center at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where a Cyber Threat Intelligence and Analytics capability was developed, and led various security operations roles at SWIFT and ING Nederland. Lalit holds a Bachelor of Science from Kumaoun University and an MBA in IT Operations Management from the National Institute of Management, Delhi.
