Bastiaan Koster is an experienced Patent and Trademark Attorney and Partner at Von Seidels since March 2007, specializing in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications and plant breeders’ rights in South Africa, along with providing advice on intellectual property matters, focusing on the commercialization of IP for competitive advantage. Prior to this, Bastiaan served as a Partner at Bowman Gilfillan John and Kernick from January 1988 to February 2007. Bastiaan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Johannesburg and a BProc from the University of South Africa.
