David Wech has extensive experience in the energy industry. David is currently the Chief Economist at Vortexa since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at JBC Energy for almost 20 years. During their time at JBC Energy, they held various roles including Managing Director from January 2012 to September 2020, Head of Research from September 2009 to December 2016, Head of Energy Studies from May 2005 to August 2009, and Oil Market Analyst/Team Leader from June 2002 to May 2006.
David Wech earned a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Vienna, attending from 1996 to 2002.
