Duration: Equivalent to minimum 520 Hours (or 3 months minimum)

Work location: Remote (with hybrid options in Toronto only)

Compensation: Hourly (paid in equity compensation equivalent to CAD $32/hour)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented ESG Content Writer who is passionate about ESG, sustainability, and ethical AI. The ideal candidate will have experience with storytelling and report drafting using tools such as Canva, Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and other design platforms used by top companies. In this role, you will contribute to our ESG initiatives by producing content that communicates our progress, impacts, and ESG strategies clearly and compellingly to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft engaging ESG content, including reports, presentations, newsletters, and social media posts, aligned with the company’s ESG strategy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Collaborate with the ESG team to develop storytelling formats that translate complex ESG data and metrics into digestible, visually appealing content.
• Use design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign to create professional-grade visual content.
• Assist in the development of creative assets for internal and external communication, with a focus on showcasing the impact of ESG initiatives.
• Research and interpret emerging trends in sustainability and ESG reporting to inform content creation.
• Ensure content is tailored to meet specific stakeholder needs and resonates with diverse audiences.
• Develop informative and persuasive reports and presentations that align with ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and CSRD.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across platforms.
• Monitor and update content to ensure alignment with the latest ESG and sustainability standards and trends.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (in progress or recently completed) or Bachelor's degree (recently completed) in Communications, Marketing, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with a strong portfolio demonstrating design capabilities.
• Experience in writing and developing ESG reports or sustainability-related content.
• Passion for storytelling, with the ability to transform ESG data into compelling, engaging narratives.
• Excellent writing and content strategy skills.
• Strong knowledge of ESG principles, particularly in sustainability, social impact, and SDGs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail and work collaboratively across virtual teams.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, and eager to contribute meaningfully to our ESG journey.

Hiring Process:

2. Written Questionnaire: Selected candidates will receive a set of 10 written questions to assess their fit and technical knowledge..
3. Video Questionnaire: Candidates who successfully pass the written assessment will be asked to answer 10 additional questions to be submitted in a video format to further evaluate their skills and cultural fit. The ability to video record your answers will be required.
4. Evaluation: Our team will review the responses to both questionnaires. Candidates who meet our criteria will be invited to the next stage.
5. Orientation Session: Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an orientation session where they will learn more about Vosyn, our projects, and what to expect during the internship. After this session, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in if you choose that this internship is for you.
