Haig Apovian has extensive experience in real estate investments, currently serving in that capacity at Votorantim S.A. since January 2019. Prior to this role, Haig held a similar position at BR Properties S/A for a brief period in 2018 and was a founding partner at Oca Investimentos from September 2014 to April 2018. Earlier in Haig's career, leadership as Head of Planning and work as an M&A Analyst were undertaken at BR Properties S/A from 2008 to 2014. Experience began at Standard Bank Group as a Trainee in Debt Capital Markets from August 2007 to April 2008. Haig holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, completed in 2008, and participated in the Key Executives Program at Harvard Business School in 2013, with additional civil engineering studies at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2007.
