Wenya Yang

Wenya Yang began their work experience in 2015 as a Health Education Board Member at Trinity College-Hartford, where they organized health education events and conducted research on relevant health topics. In 2016, they interned at Connecticut Veterinary Center, where they organized and filed patient records, recorded vitals for emergency patients, and responded to emergencies in a high-pressure environment. In 2018, Wenya worked as a Technical Writing Intern at PlumChoice, where they were responsible for documenting Jenkins batch jobs and processing documents through Microsoft SharePoint. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Ultivue as a Laboratory Technician and then as a Laboratory Technologist, contributing to laboratory operations. Currently, Wenya is a Research Associate II at Voyager Therapeutics, Inc., where they are involved in research activities. Overall, Wenya has gained diverse experience in healthcare, laboratory operations, technical writing, and research.

Wenya Yang attended Trinity College-Hartford from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology.
