Manuel Almenara

Manuel Almenara currently serves as the Vice President of Carrier Relations at vQuip since September 2023. Prior to this role, Manuel was the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Swiss Re from September 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included sourcing and structuring partnership opportunities with a focus on insurtechs and embedded solutions. As the CEO and Head of Strategic Partnerships at Hello ZUM from March 2017 to August 2021, Manuel led the company to recognition as the most innovative insuretech startup in Latin America. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President at Greenhill & Co., where Manuel played a key role in establishing the Brazilian operations, and as a Divisional Director at Willis, managing relationships with C-level clients and overseeing reinsurance risk transfer products. Manuel holds an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from Columbia Business School and various certificates in digital transformation and design thinking.
