As multidisciplinary team of the Vice-rectorate Innovation & Industry Relations, VUB TechTransfer facilitates cooperation between the VUB, industry and society. Our mission is to facilitate transforming innovative research at the VUB into real-world impact, providing answers to societal challenges. Innovation means moving forward, with the purpose to create a positive impact on people's lives and build a better world. 

The Vrije Universiteit Brussel aims to be a pioneer in fundamental, strategic and applied research with an international orientation. Together with VUB Foundation, the philanthropic fundraising team, and Crosstalks, the interdisciplinary networking platform, VUB TechTransfer forms the Vice-rectorate Innovation & Industry Relations, headed by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Peter Schelkens.
