Barton Chevreaux has a diverse and extensive work experience in the construction and materials industry. Barton started their career at CEMEX as an Engineering Intern in 2002. Barton then joined Lehigh Hanson in 2003, where they worked as a Mine Planning Engineer and a Project Engineer. In 2006, they moved to Martin Marietta and took on various roles including Senior District Engineer, Quarry Superintendent, Maintenance Superintendent, Plant Manager, and District Production Manager. In 2017, they joined Vulcan Materials Company as the Engineering Services Manager and later became the Director of Project Engineering. In these roles, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in managing and executing capital projects in the Southwest Division, focusing on quarrying, asphalt, concrete, and distribution terminals.

Barton Chevreaux earned a degree in Mining Engineering with a Quarry Engineering Option from the University of Nevada, Reno. Barton attended the university from 1998 to 2003.
