Candace Edwards has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Candace started their career at Life of the South in 1996 as a Staff Accountant, where they worked until 2000. In 2002, they joined Harbert Management Corporation as a Fund Accountant and held this position until 2010. Finally, they moved to Vulcan Value Partners in 2010, where they currently serve as a Principal and Director of Portfolio Accounting.
Candace Edwards earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a specialization in Accounting from The University of Southern Mississippi, completing their degree between 1987 and 1991. In addition to their undergraduate education, they obtained certifications in leadership development from the Center for Creative Leadership in February 2023 and in investment as a Claritas Investment Certificate holder from the CFA Institute in December 2015.
