Jinyoung Kim

Jinyoung Kim, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Research Scientist and Team Lead at VUNO Inc., focusing on AI-based medical imaging technologies for Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis and lung cancer screening. With extensive experience in the field of medical image computing, Jinyoung has worked as a Consultant and Research Scientist at Surgical Information Sciences, Inc., developing clinical image-guided systems for deep brain stimulation surgeries. Prior roles include Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where contributions were made to advanced MRI techniques, and Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University. Jinyoung holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University, further supported by multiple degrees in related fields from the University of Minnesota and Hanyang University.
