Vyng
Sohrab Pirayesh has a long and varied work experience. Sohrab started their career in 2001 as a Senior Designer for the Administrative Computing division of the University of California, Berkeley. Sohrab then moved on to become an Art Director at Fox Broadcasting Company in 2005. Later that same year, they began freelancing as a Creative Director. In 2007, they Co-Founded UXD and in 2010, they Co-Founded Sons of Stitches. In 2012, they joined inMarket as SVP of Design and in 2015, they Co-Founded Vyng.
Sohrab Pirayesh attended the CyberArts Media Program from 1998 to 2000, studying Design. Sohrab then attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2001 to 2005, where they earned their BA in Film Studies.

Vyng is an LA-based company that transforms how conversations start on mobile by bringing emotion to the lockscreen. Vyng’s app lets users set videos as ringtones for friends, playing a fresh video on the lockscreen with every call. Vyng boasts 3 Billion videos played across 170 countries since its launch in 2017. The company is backed by March Capital, Omidyar Network, a Google Ventures partner, and the founders of Giphy and GroupMe.
