Alexa Ramirez

Alexa Ramirez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alexa began their career as an intern at the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Barbara, where they enhanced their research and speaking skills. Alexa also interned at the Santa Barbara Public Defenders, handling responsibilities such as filing, case retrievals, and court runs. Alexa then worked as a Media Lab Monitor and Graphic Designer at the University of San Francisco, where they conducted inventory, performed equipment maintenance, and provided customer service. Alexa also gained experience in lighting/grip, audio/recording, and film equipment. Later, they served as a Video Editing Intern at the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center, creatively putting together video content and performing post-production work. Alexa then worked as an Administrative Assistant at Allegiance Law, managing schedules and calendars and handling correspondence. Alexa's most recent experience includes roles at the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department, where they served as a California Children Service Caseworker, a Vaccination Pod Plans Manager, and a Covid Contact Tracer, gaining experience in case management, vaccination administration, and data collection. Currently, they work as a Customer Support Specialist at Vyond.

Alexa Ramirez attended Santa Barbara High School from 2010 to 2014. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies at the University of San Francisco. Alexa studied at the University of San Francisco from 2014 to 2018, successfully graduating with their degree. In 2017, Alexa also had the opportunity to study photography at Richmond, The American International University in London for a year.
