Roland Slade

Roland Slade has extensive experience in environmental health and safety, currently serving as a Safety Team Member at Erie Downtown Development Corporation since November 2022. Prior to this role, Roland held the position of Environmental Health Safety Coordinator at Wabtec Corporation from February 2019, where responsibilities included assisting with incident investigations, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions, as well as leading weekly safety meetings. Roland's previous experience also includes working as an EHS Coordinator at GE Transportation from October 2003 to February 2019, performing similar safety-related functions, along with a background in heat treatment and welding operations. Roland attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1990 to 1991, pursuing studies in Art Teacher Education.
