Chandan Kar

Chandan Kar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chandan started their career as a Stage Performer, participating in various national and international theatre festivals and performances. Chandan then moved on to the corporate sector, working as a Project Executive at Metis Erc India Pvt. Ltd, where they managed operations and conducted learning activities for the retail industry. Chandan further gained experience as the Manager of Business Development at Artflute, leading learning programs and strategic positioning of the brand.

Chandan's next role was as a Business Manager at Toplearning, where they managed the India business and implemented effective learning programs. Chandan then joined Wadhwani Foundation, where they held various roles, including Program Manager for Entrepreneur Support, Program Manager for Wadhwani Global University, and Senior Global Program Manager for Entrepreneurship & Skill development. In these roles, they executed programs, engaged with start-ups and SMEs, and developed deep connections within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

After their tenure at Wadhwani Foundation, Chandan joined HCL Technologies as the Head of Talent Development for StateStreet HCL Services. In this role, they focused on improving and maintaining employee proficiency, building talent pipelines, and managing capability development initiatives.

Most recently, Chandan returned to Wadhwani Foundation, this time as the Product Deployment Head.

Chandan Kar completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Resources from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Additionally, they obtained certifications in "Bill George on Self-Awareness, Authenticity, and Leadership" and "Leadership Mindsets" from LinkedIn in June 2021.
