Since 2007, WAFA's mission is to certify, acknowledge and give exposure to local sustainable solutions that secure clean water, clean air and food for their communities. 

At WAFA AWARDS we have seen that addressing the world’s most acute problems by acknowledging and highlighting local community-based solutions works. 

In calls for award applications, we identify sustainability pioneers and share their stories across multiple platforms. We celebrate them in an Awards event and give them the visibility they deserve to inspire change and gather support to scale and replicate their solutions.
