Ritwick Dsouza

Ritwick Dsouza is a Senior Software Engineer at Wafeq, an early-stage startup focused on transforming the accounting and finance sector in the Middle East and Africa since November 2021. Previously, Ritwick held multiple roles at dubizzle, the largest online classifieds platform in the UAE, from July 2018 to October 2021, where responsibilities included leading a team to enhance the category tree and contributing to various systems such as Call Tracking and Moderation. As a Software Engineer Intern, Ritwick developed an internal Python/Django library for application metrics and established a Jenkins framework for testing. Additionally, during the Google Summer of Code in 2017, Ritwick worked with OpenWISP on network configuration management. Ritwick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, obtained in 2018.
