Matthew O'Connor

Matthew O'Connor is a seasoned professional in corporate governance and compliance, currently serving as Vice President at Wafra since December 2021. Previously, Matthew held the position of Assistant Corporate Manager at Conyers from January 2018 to November 2021, where responsibilities included managing client services and internal controls, as well as serving as a Corporate Administrator overseeing a portfolio of over 100 companies. Matthew's earlier experience includes roles at KPMG Ireland, where contributions involved implementing Beneficial Ownership Regulations and training initiatives, and a legal research position at the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General in Ireland. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Corporate Governance from Ulster University and multiple qualifications in compliance and business law.
