Carlos Ruiz

Carlos Ruiz has extensive experience in the industrial automation and marine sectors, currently serving as the Industry Manager at WAGO Corporation since January 2015, overseeing strategic accounts for marine and offshore applications in North America. Previous roles include Industry Manager focused on Marine Automation and Regional Sales Manager, responsible for sales across Florida in various market segments. Prior to WAGO, Carlos held the position of Account Manager at Anixter, where key achievements included securing control and communication systems for the Port of Miami Tunnel Project. Carlos also served as Project Coordinator for Latin America, managing projects in multiple countries. Early in his career, Carlos led the electronics team at STRIDe Laboratory, designing systems for a robot participating in a NASA competition. Carlos holds an MBA from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Florida State University.
