Cam Lopes

Cam Lopes has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as the Director for Social and Behavioral Programming at WCPSS since 1996. This role involves collaboration with behavioral support teams and overseeing programs for students facing long-term suspension, while also fostering connections with mental health agencies to address the needs of special education students. Additionally, Cam Lopes has a background in teaching within the Wake County Public School System since 1998 and previously served as a Senior Administrator for DeKalb County Schools from 1989 to 1993. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Education Administration from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Appalachian State University.
