David Hunt

David Hunt has extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), currently serving as GIS Manager for Public Safety Data at Wake County since January 2000, where responsibilities include managing GIS staff, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting emergency response operations. Previously, David held the position of Senior GIS Analyst, focusing on technical activities and ensuring application integrity. Prior experience includes serving as E9-1-1 Services Manager at Analytical Surveys, Inc., and as a Production Analyst at EDS Group. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography with a GIS concentration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master's degree in Geography with a GIS concentration from East Carolina University.
